The Autumn cozy season will be upon us before we know it, and what better way to make the rainy, grey weather better than by curling up with a good seasonal book. Here are six of my Autumn-influenced book recommendations that are easy, enjoyable reads and perfect to sink your teeth into this spooky season.

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe- Laurie Gilmore

Think enemies to lovers, small-town romance vibes. This is an easy, cute, romantic read that you will enjoy from start to finish. It is also the first book of a series of five so there are plenty more to enjoy if you like this one.

The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern

Magic, spooky and fully captivating, this book is truly spellbinding and really enjoyable, especially for those who are into fantasy books.

Autumn, Ali Smith

Ali Smith is a sensational writer, and her book Autumn was just as enjoyable for me as her other books. It is the first one of her seasonal quartet, and meditates on the world around us as the season changes and Autumn sets in.

My Roommate is a Vampire- Jenna Levine

This is a very lighthearted, pretty silly read about a woman who moves in with a vampire. A romantic story with a touch of fantastical elements, it’s the perfect easy read as we head towards Halloween and all things spooky.

Autumn Chills- Agatha Christie

Fans of Agatha Christie will know that she is the queen of crime, and this book is a collection of 12 supernatural mysteries and murders featuring all of her famous detectives, including Poirot and Miss Marple. It is perfect to dip in and out of, or to read in one go.

Impractical Magic- Emily Grimoire

The perfect Autumn read for those who love Gilmore Girls and Charmed- this is an easy, cosy small-town second chance romance with hints of magic and family dynamics. If you like the Pumpkin Spice cafe series, you’ll love this one too.
