If you’re looking for places to go pumpkin picking around the East Yorkshire area this Autumn, this is the post for you. Pumpkin picking is a fun seasonal activity that is great to do with young children, but is enjoyable for all ages too. Here is a list of places you can go pumpkin picking, and where to find them… 


Sandy Bottom Farm 


Home of sunflowers in the Summer and pumpkins in the Autumn, Sandy Bottom Farm in Hedon is just one place in the area where you can go pumpkin picking. There are also Halloween activities that you can enjoy too. 


  • Thorn Road, Hedon, Hull, HU12 8BB 

  • £3 per person, under 2’s free 

  • Open from October 4th on selected dates. 


The Pumpkin Patch at Bewholme 


The Pumpkin Patch at Bewholme has loads of pumpkin fun for all the family to enjoy. You can go to one of the pick your own pumpkin events, or have fun pumpkin carving in the field. 


  • Homeland Farm, Catfoss Road, Bewholme, Driffield, YO25 8DX 

  • PYO pumpkins £1.50 per person, children under 12 months free

  • Pumpkin carving: £2.50 per pumpkin. 

  • Open from 10am until 4pm on selected dates 


Butt Farm Pumpkin Patch, Beverley 


Butt Farm is a caravan, camping and glamping site that also offers pick your own pumpkins from the patch, as well as Halloween crafting sessions during half term and free pumpkin carving every Friday and Monday in October, plus during half term week.

  • No booking required and entry to the patch with a charitable donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance
